Applicants must have attended Nimitz/STEM for at least two consecutive years (6th & 7th or 7th & 8th), and be a Graduating High School Senior to be eligible.

Award Criteria

• Applicants must be a graduating High School Senior in 2027, and have attended Nimitz/STEM for at least two consecutive years

• Submit a resume listing activities, involvement, recognitions, and awards earned during High School

• Short Essay, typed, about your future goals and plans

• Short explanation, typed, of one of your favorite experiences/ traditions/ memories at Nimitz/STEM

• A completed application and both essays are due April 26, 2027

The Scholarship honoree and parents will be invited to attend the LEE PTSA General Meeting in May 2027 (exact date pending) and will be recognized at the event. 

After the scholarship is awarded, the funds will be sent as soon as the honoree provides a copy of enrollment verification (such as enrollment verification letter, tuition bill, or class schedule). Please email enrollment document(s) to president@nimitzstemptsa.com and let us know if you have any important pending payment deadlines.
